Each guest room is uniquely furnished, has a private en suite bathroom, DVD/TV, Wi-Fi and cabled internet, a pillow-top king or queen bed, and a covered, on-site free parking place. The weekend getaway downtown with 37 dinner-class restaurants, art and import galleries, eclectic boutiques, and things to do is just a stroll away. The Ark, Zingerman’s Deli, the Michigan Theater, Hollander’s Paper, and Hill auditorium are nearby. Fruit, pop, coffee, tea, snacks, guest computer anytime. History Established in 2003 Originally built as a four room apartment building on the north edge of the University of Michigan campus, the mid-century modern chalet was converted to a B&B beginning in 1992. All nine guest rooms with en suite bathrooms have unique features: seven rooms have pillow-top king beds, two rooms have pillow-top queen beds, six rooms have balconies or cedar patios, all rooms have showers, three rooms have tubs, and two rooms have hot tubs.
